After visiting Taj Mahal we went to Agra Fort. Like the Taj Mahal, the Agra Fort is popularly known as the sister monument of Taj. The fort is also known as ‘Lal-Qila’ and is a symbol of power, strength and pliability. Emperor Akbar built the fort in red sandstone in 1654. The Fort served as a military strategic point and as a royal residence.
Apart from Taj Mahal and Agra Fort there are so many places to visit and one of them is Fatehpur Sikri, it is situated in the West of Agra. It was built by Emperor Akbar in 16th century and was also capital.
The best suitable time to visit this great Taj on a full moon night, then you will see the heaven comes down to the earth just infront of your eyes!
