Arendtsville, PA for National Apple Harvest Festival

Okay, so this probably isn’t something you mark on your calendar and purchase a plane ticket to Pennsylvania for every year, but it’s $10 well spent if you happen to be in the area.

Maybe it’s my love of all things autumn that helped to make it such an enjoyable experience, but there was also a lot to do! TONS of art and craft vendors, antique cars and cider equipment, pony rides and a petting zoo for the little ones, live entertainment, and – of course – plenty of apples and apple-based foods. (Other foods too, if you need a change of pace.)

Perhaps my favourite part, though, was the trip to the fairgrounds, as the road runs through loads of farmland and apple orchards. So beautiful!
