When I planned my trip to Arizona, I knew I had to visit the Grand Canyon. I started my day at the Bright Angel Trail head. The hike runs about 9.3 miles long and is considered the safest hiking trail at the Grand Canyon. The paths were all groomed and were easily accessible. Easily the best part of the day was having lunch halfway through the hike overlooking the Grand Canyon. I hiked down the rest if the trail with a group of people my age I had met while eating lunch. At the end of the trail we stayed at Phantom Ranch, which had overnight housing available. The Grand Canyon offers some of the breath taking views in the world and I plan on coming back with friends.
