This last summer, we had an incredible weekend visit to Austin. Austin the capital of Texas lies in the point where the Colorado River leaves the Edwards Plateau. It could be a very wonderful and fantastic experience. Got a best rental boat ride in the beautiful Austin Lake, located in the heart of the city and just minute from Downtown, However, the Lake Austin offers amazing sight views of 22 miles includes privately-owned waterfront and Cliffside homes & communities, popular shore-side restaurants featuring local flavors and many public parks.
Dinner was at Holly Roller which is right in the downtown of Austin. We ate Punk-rock brunch in the rock and roll bar with the kids. The food was ultimate with intriguing twists. What was cool was the urban music family-centric festival going on the mid of summer which made the town more catching on and well-worth the trip. Next coming summer we will surely stay longer.
We stayed close to the town at the Mueller, located in East Austin, just 4 miles from Downtown. They also have eco-conscious features a beautiful park and a nice pool. I highly recommend spending a weekend in Austin, Texas!
