When I was planning my trip to Chicago, I wanted to go in the winter so that I could go see a Bears game at Soldier Field. Lucky enough, the Bears were playing my Seahawks when I was in town. I started my day off at a cozy hotel in downtown Chicago. I grabbed breakfast at the hotel and then headed to the stadium with a buddy of mine. Depending where you stay, the stadium is easily accessible via train, bus, or even a nice walk. In my case I took a 20-minute cab ride down to the stadium. Once we got out of the cab we grabbed our tickets from will-call and walked around the stadium looking for fellow Seahawk fans. Like any NFL stadium, the home team will be hostile to opposing fans. We loved it though. No one was too rude and we got to meet a lot of cool locals that opened up their tailgate for us. The stadium itself is pretty wide open so there isn’t a bad seat in the house. If you’re ever in Chicago for a Bears game, bundle up because it gets cold in Chicago during the winter. They don’t call it the “Windy City” for nothing.
