Copenhagen, Denmark for The Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid (Den lille Havfrue), the beautiful bronze statue of historical Disney character, is placed on the waterside of Langelinie in Copenhagen. I was really overwhelmed by its beautiful architecture. But the backdrop is the industrial buildings on the background, which decrease the beauty in it.
When I went there, the tourists were all over it, taking pictures and I was unable to capture the view of it. But there is nothing more to do here, other than just taking pictures. So, its just a quick visit site, and becomes boring after a while.
Talking about the statue, the little mermaid sits sadly on the hedge. The statue is small , contradictory to my expectations. Well it is iconic, but not that impressive. I would recommend it as a side line trip, not desperately plan to see it.
