Visited the Texas Discovery Gardens recently and was blown away by how well kept this botanical garden was. They have a butterfly house on site with hundreds of butterfly’s flying around. I took my niece and nephew and they loved letting the butterfly’s land on them and would walk them around until they decided to take flight and land on another lucky kid. I believe the brochure said the exhibit was 7.5 acres of both local plants and also other plants from other regions they have there. They also have a really cool rain forest exhibit that completely provides the feeling that you are in a whole other part of the world. I was very impressed by the exhibit and the kids loved it. Here is a link to there website with more information about upcoming exhibits and features I may have forgotten to mention.
