Helsinki, Finland for DESI- Design Museum

On my visit to my sister’s in Helsinki, we visited the national design and industrial art museum of Finland, the Design Museum. It is a paradise for design lovers and anyone who has interest in Finnish design and art history. We get there by bus no. 24, and the ticket price of the museum was quite reasonable. Normal ticket price for adults is 10 Euros, while my sister enjoyed for free as she has Helsinki card (Nonetheless I enjoyed more). I would say as Finnish and Scandinavian Art is well recognized and world famous so one must not leave Finland without visiting this museum.
Museum align its stature very close to the high streets of Helsinki. Design museum portrays excellent interpretation of Finnish history with modern developed art and industrial design. The museum exhibits a variety of events and exhibition, some of which are permanent while some collections keep changing. Well it gives a great pleasure to have good sight into Finnish art and history design. The Eero Aarnio Exhibition is the highlight of the museum and visitors top most favorite attraction. It is really interesting exhibition as it thoroughly describe the design process of the artist with explanatory English text describing the story.
The displayed things from different eras of Finnish history are exhibited for sale, and you can also order them online.
For design lovers this museum is a must go.
