We arrived into Tel Aviv and were immediately greeted by the VIP guide which helped everything run very smoothly. Within moments the Visa was taken care of and we went to retrieve luggage. VIP airport transfers are highly advised.
*Stop one Jerusalem
We walked the Holy City to experience the Three Faiths including the stations of the cross leading up to the Church of the Holy Sepulchure, the Temple of Mount and the most breathtaking moment at the Western Wall. When it’s time to eat there are many places including a vegetarian middle eastern eatery that gave me the feeling I was in the moment of living like a local.
The excursion to the Judean Desert also led us to the Dead Sea as well as Masada. Being there in June become prepared to fight the heat by staying hydrated. Having an excellent guide that carries all the water does help. The day ended with a Jeep Excursion.
Jerusalem is also a food Mecca in itself. In the market in the Machane Yehuda section we shopped with the chef and continued to a kitchen where we created a Israeli dinner and ate on the rooftop overlooking the local street. It comes in handy to have a multi faith guide that can explain multiple beliefs in regards to the history of Israel.
