Today marks the grand opening of Gordon Ramsay’s Fish & Chips, Ramsay’s fourth restaurant to open in Las Vegas with successful signature venues at Paris (Steak), Caesars Palace (Pub & Grill), and Planet Hollywood (BURGR). To celebrate the launch, Chef Ramsay made a personal appearance to cut the ribbon and formally open the doors to Gordon Ramsay’s Fish & Chips.
“Ladies and gentlemen, good morning,” Ramsay said, greeting a large crowd. “Thank you so much for coming. First of all, let me tell you all how excited I am to be opening our first Fish & Chips shop at The LINQ in Las Vegas.”
After an introduction and ribbon-cutting ceremony, Ramsay took a place in the kitchen where he joked with fellow chefs about the pronunciation of basil here in the US versus his home in the UK.
Located in The LINQ Promenade, Caesars Entertainment’s open-air shopping, dining and entertainment district, Gordon Ramsay’s Fish & Chips is a casual grab-and-go restaurant with a distinctly British menu. The venue features Ramsay’s signature fish and chips, bangers and mash, chicken planks and hearty seafood chowder. Chefs are visible as they prepare made-to-order creations and the restaurant offers quick service so visitors can continue exploring the Promenade and Strip without missing a beat. More details will soon be found on the restaurant website http://www.gordonramsayrestaurants.com/gordon-ramsay-fish-chips.
For guests wishing to experience a sit-down dinner in a contemporary and intimate setting, Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill is just across the street, located within Caesars Palace. The bar offers thirty-six beers on tap and an additional sixty-three bottled varieties. During my night out, I sampled Innis & Gunn, noted as Ramsay’s favorite. The full menu of beverage and dining options is available online at http://www.gordonramsayrestaurants.com/pub-and-grill-las-vegas.
While this fall debuts a few new menu items, I tried the Maine Lobster & Shrimp Roll Minis with a lovely lemon-garlic mayo and served on a Brioche roll. Next came a heavenly 12oz Grilled NY Strip with peppercorn brandy sauce and a side of Lobster Mac ‘N’ Cheese. The Gruyere with English Cheddar and Parmesan melted in my mouth, offering the perfect combination of comfort food and fine dining. My top recommendation for dessert is Ramsay’s Sticky Toffee Pudding, so delectable in flavor and texture you’ll want seconds.
Whether you’re on the go and want a quick bite, or desire a full evening of culinary creations, Gordon Ramsay Restaurants now offer guests the ultimate in choice for dining on the Las Vegas Strip.
