On my recent getaway to Miami Beach, I had a very specific wish list: waterfront accommodations with easy beach access, proximity to shopping and local attractions, and an assortment of menus to feed my foodie interests. I found it all—and more—at Stanton South Beach Hotel.
You’ll find incredible oceanfront views when you book a balcony suite at the Stanton South Beach Hotel. I loved being able to sip my morning coffee as the sun rose over the Atlantic. The hotel has a soothing beach vibe with contemporary decor, while rooms are chic and full of useful amenities like a mini-fridge and bar, WiFi, coffee maker, and plenty of stylish seating for taking a break from the heat.
But the heat and sunshine is exactly why this hotel is so perfect. With so few hotels located directly on the waterfront of Miami Beach, Stanton South Beach Hotel stands out for its incredible location. I was overjoyed about the direct beach access including beach lounge chairs and umbrellas. Concierge service includes access to water sport rentals, such as paddleboards, Jet Skis, bicycles, and more. Plus, with outdoor bar service and two beautiful pools to enjoy, you’ll never want to leave the comfort of this beach bum paradise.
There does come a time for exploring the area, though, and I loved how close I was to everything on my must-see list. The Art Deco Museum is just down the road, and from there it’s super easy to take a self-guided tour of the Art Deco Historic District along Ocean Drive, Collins Avenue, and Washington Avenue. Also nearby is the Lincoln Road Shopping District and stunning performances at the Miami City Ballet. Simply wandering this beach district is pure joy with so many shops, galleries, and eateries to explore.
While there’s plenty of food to devour in Miami Beach, there’s also plenty of great cuisine offered on-site at Stanton South Beach Hotel. Grab your go-to morning beverage from Starbucks on the ground level, or head to Lolo’s Surf Cantina for a satisfying breakfast or brunch. Their lunchtime tacos are fabulous, too, and I recommend the Baja Fish Taco with just the right amount of Serrano aioli for a hint of kick. Or try the burrito with fries for a filling midday meal. For a great date night, visit Azabu for gorgeous culinary creations from Chef Masatsugu Kubo. Try the Tempura Corn for something extra special, and be sure to sample the Tempura Lobster served with spicy mayo. Both were delightful additions to my Robata Wagyu Steak main.
While the location of Stanton South Beach Hotel allows easy access to all of the district’s attractions, I found myself relaxing on the property more often than not. The pools are so welcoming, the beach is *right there* and I couldn’t be happier about the stunning views found on my suite’s balcony. Plus, with great dining options on-site, my getaway to Miami Beach was perfectly lush and luxurious, thanks to the fabulous accommodations at Stanton South Beach Hotel. I’m already counting down to my next visit.
