Nashville (Music Town USA) for Free Live Music

Nashville or commonly referred to as Music City has live music every day, at every hour, everywhere. That sounds like an over exaggeration but I can ensure you that it is not. The best part is, you can find music any time for less than a penny. I had a great time at some of these places, and sometimes they were a little too country for me. Still provided a great vibe. Here are the local venues by area:

Honky Tonk Highway – Nashville Free Music
Let’s talk about a thing called Honky Tonk Highway. Music City’s honky tonks line both sides of Broadway and pump live music into the streets all day, every day. There’s no cover charge but the tip jar gets passed around for those wanting to appreciate the musicians that make Nashville Music City. The music starts at 10am with the party lasting until 3 in the morning.

Towards the lower side of Broadway are unique Nashville joints playing the music and keeping the party going with excellent drink specials. The venues in this area have some of the best music one can find for less than a penny.

Around the corner of Broadway is 2nd Avenue playing every genre of music from blues to rock ‘n’ roll. It’s a street prepared for whatever the night might throw at it. They have the tunes, the dance floors, and they promise to keep the party going until the early morning.

Behind the busy streets of Nashville’s Broadway is the SoBro district with a handful of places that are all about FREE music. From a listening room with outstanding acoustics to a Nashville craft beer tap room that hosts rocking bands each weekend. The SoBro district is one of the best places to get a taste of what Nashville offers.

Some of Nashville’s oldest venues can be found in The Gulch. Inside this neighborhood is one awesome clothing store with a guitar room and stage plus eclectic restaurants hosting live music on a nightly basis. The Gulch is a full music experience with the added extras Nashville has come to love like fashion, food, and good times.

Extending up Broadway is a neighborhood known as Midtown. This place is filled with FREE music joints just waiting to be discovered. Multiple bars with stages filled with artists aching to play a tune. A person can spend an entire day traveling from one place to the next and never have to worry about hearing a bad song.
