we only had one night and two full days. We started by going to to Little Italy and having the best margarita pizza at Lombardi’s. We took a ferry and saw the statue on liberty and did a walk through the financial district. That night we took a train to jersey and saw the leafs lose their last game of the season 🙁 (we did get an awesome draft pick though lol). The next day we went uptown to see Chicago play on broadway, had lunch at Carnegie deli, went for a walk by central park, on our way over to 5th avenue, where we window shopped at Tiffany’s, and headed down to time square. The only things we didn’t get to do/see while we were there that we wanted to was grande central station, and I wanted to see the brownstones on some of the side streets, but we just ran out of time. Next time 😉
Carnegie deli and Lombardi’s is a must for a true NY meal. As well if you go to the theatres around 11am and get in line you can buy tickets to their matinee for a small fraction of the cost. We saw Chicago of $35 per ticket and we were 3 rows back!
