Located on the Pacific Coast Highway, directly across from the Huntington Beach pier and the town’s infamous surf waves, Paséa Hotel & Spa offers easy access to beach time, waterfront dining, and Main Street shopping.
Paséa Hotel & Spa pairs contemporary luxury with an inviting coastal style, which means guests are treated to upscale service in a relaxed environment. So whether you’re tending to business in the airy meeting rooms or spending your time by the pool, you’ll feel perfectly at home at Paséa. My stay at the coastal property had only one agenda: beach bum fun.
Huntington Beach is home to ten miles of sun-kissed beach, and throughout the day you’ll spot surfers catching waves that made the town famous. Paséa Hotel’s location offers fabulous views and just about every room has the ocean in sight. My studio suite had a large, private ocean-facing patio that provided a perfect spot for viewing sunrise and sunset, lapping waves and distant mountains alike.
Inside and out, Paséa Hotel & Spa encourages relaxation and comfort. My suite had a cozy sofa, work station, and plenty of outlets to keep my electronics charged. The bar included a Keurig coffee maker with a selection of coffees and teas. The spacious, inviting bathroom included a gorgeous glass walk-in shower, sleek decor, and hoodie robes for comfort. FRESH bath products included grapefruit shower gel, seaberry shampoo and conditioner, and luxurious soaps. Crisp, clean linens topped the Serta Presidential Suite Pillow Top mattress, ensuring a refreshing night of sleep.
The resort fee covers WiFi throughout the property for unlimited devices, one bottle of Trinitas Wine, use of the hotel’s surfboard storage, and all the beach accessories you could ask for, including chairs, umbrellas, and towels. In addition to easy beach access, Paséa Hotel & Spa has a large outdoor pool with plenty of lounge chairs and cabanas. There’s more than one way to get your feet wet at this serene oceanfront property.
When hunger strikes, Paséa’s signature restaurant—Tanner’s—is a fabulous spot for dining, from breakfast to dinner. With a focus on fresh local ingredients and a wood-fired grill, I enjoyed several meals here during my stay. Another go-to for my cravings was the on-site Blend Café, which offers premium coffees, teas, and pastries. You can’t beat grabbing an iced latte for some poolside lounging. For the cocktail crowd, Treehouse Bar overlooks the Pacific Ocean and offers an intimate setting for fireside chats.
If you’re looking for even more rejuvenation, try Aarna—Paséa’s Balinese-inspired spa—for a host of pampering treatments. But you won’t stay put for long, as Paséa Hotel & Spa neighbors some great venues worth exploring. Right next door, Lot 579 is an artisanal market with fresh gourmet and grab-and-go snacks. Pacific City, a beautiful open-air beachfront complex, is home to several shops and restaurants to accentuate your vacation. Plus, every Tuesday, Main Street hosts ‘Surf City Nights,’ a street market with local vendors, entertainment, and social gatherings. All of this is mere steps away from Paséa, so you can keep your flip flops on while perusing the beach town.
Paséa Hotel & Spa is dog-friendly and sand-friendly, so it’s the perfect spot to call home while visiting Huntington Beach. On-site services connect guests with outdoor yoga and surf lessons, and you’ll find smore’s kits at Blend Café—perfect for cozying up to the bonfire rings available for free use along the coastline.
