During my trip to Philadelphia, I was on a mission to find the best Roast Pork Sandwich in the city. I know Philadelphia is known for its Cheese Steaks but the roast pork sandwich is a sleeper favorite of many. I picked up my phone and typed “Best Roast Pork Sandwiches In Philadelphia” and was lead to a farmers market called Reading Terminal Market. I had heard of this market before and decided to check it out for myself. When I got to the market I was bombarded with the smell of amazing food being cooked. This is the type of place you could get lost in. It reminded me a lot of Pike Place Market in Seattle but with a “east coast” vibe. It was great. My journey then leads me to a sandwich shop called Tommy DiNic’s Roast Pork and Beef. You know a restaurant is good when the locals go there to eat and they will be the first to tell you that there’s absolutely no better place to go when looking for a roast pork sandwich. This sandwich was on a whole different level. Everything was freshly made at the shop. They had the pork roasted on site for about 5 hours, which then had a melt in your mouth effect when eating it. Apparently the sandwich was recently voted best sandwich in America. No complaints here. The truth is out. Go see for your self.
