I started my day grabbing lunch in the Lost Forest in the heart of the San Diego Zoo, there is a tree top restaurant called Albert’s. There is open-air deck seating, so of course that is where I chose to sit. I sat and looked over the extensive menu, there are foods from all over the world. I chose the Pasta Puttanesca, it was great! While enjoying my lunch the view was overlooking a private waterfall. After lunch I went for a walk through the 100 Acre zoo, they have many trails. I walked through Monkey Trails and Forest Trails. It was great to see all of the different animals. The animals all looked very happy as I walked through the unique settings that they have set up for the animals from aquatic live to Africa’s most beloved animals – including lions, elephants, and cheetahs.
