San Francisco, CA for the Vogue Theatre

Maybe the most fun I’ve had at a movie theatre! The Vogue is a beautiful historic theatre. It’s a solid hot spot to see independent films on any given day, but my time there a couple of weeks ago was the greatest.

My friends and I decided we wanted to do a girls’ night out, but not your boring, run-of-the-mill type thing. We decided we’d get all dressed up and go to The Vogue for an event they were putting on – A Punk Movie and Video Extravaganza. Because what better way to enjoy 80s Slovenian punk movies and the Buzzcocks than in slinky, girly dresses? We’re all about juxtaposition. Also, ticket sales benefitted a local radio station, so we also felt super benevolent. 🙂

Free wine, and off the wall cinema and music. Thanks Vogue – we’ll be back; even if next time isn’t quite so raucous.

Have you done this? What can you add to this jrrny?
