Visiting the EMP is one of the most fun times I have had at any museum. While first walking up you can admire the structural brilliance of the building itself. The museum is a non profit museum dedicated to the ideas and risk taking that fuel contemporary pop culture. The roots themselves are deep in Rock N Roll, the EMP describes themselves as a gateway museum, reaching multigenerational audiences through their collections, exhibitions, and educational programs. I walked through to find information about the great Jimi Hendrix and his roots in the Seattle music culture, as well as, Kurt Cobain from Nirvana. The ACDC exhibit was great, from clothing articles, to guitars. It was fully interactive and fun. They also have a horror movie exhibit which takes you through the science behind horror films. I cant express how interest and awesome of an experience this place is.
