Seattle, WA for Baseball Game at Safeco Field

When I was going to school in Oregon, I always wanted to see a baseball game up at Safeco Field in Seattle. For my last spring break in college I took the train from Portland to Seattle and finally got to see a game in the Emerald City. The whole trip was planned easily and everything from my hotel to the stadium was all within a square mile of each other. Better yet, King Station (train station) was about a block or two from my hotel. Before the game, some friends and I headed over to the Pyramid Brewery for some tasty local brews. The brewery was literally across the street from the stadium. If you ever have the chance to see a Mariners game in Seattle, you have to check out the Pyramid Brewery. The prices on beers was relatively affordable and the location was even better. Seattle is known for its rainy seasons, but we totally lucked out with a game full of sunshine and a Mariners Win.
