If you’re looking for good pizza, Seattle has a lot to offer; but the pies coming out of the kitchen at Hotel Hotel in the Fremont neighbourhood are second to none. A relatively new spot connected to a hostel of the same name (clever, no?), Hotel Hotel serves up well balanced, no-frills drinks and a-maz-ing pizza. The ambiance nods to dive-bar-meets-seedy-music-venue, but the large windows let in enough light to chase away the dark dankness that can often accompany such establishments. A really stellar plus: the bar is also connected to a great Seattle ice cream spot, Bluebird. Nothing beats the mingling smell of pizza and freshly baked cones, let me tell ya.
My husband and I are regulars here. It’s our go-to spot for a cheap date night or hanging out with friends. Especially later in the evening, the place is always full enough to keep the energy up, but never so crowded that you get that canned sardine feeling.
Hotel Hotel now serves “Detroit Style” deep dish. Yummmmm.
