We made the most of our time in Seattle. Staying at the Warwick made getting around town very easy both walking and taking the bus. There are a few things that are a must see. If you walk a few blocks you can take the Rail to the Space Needle and also see the Seattle Music project. Be sure to go early in the morning to be able to fit both in before closing time. Another place to visit is the Famous Pikes Market and stop to see the Flying fish. A great way to learn about the area is a walking tour. We chose a foodie walking tour that took us around the city and fed us enough for a quick lunch. At the end of the tour you get a few discount vouchers for various places to eat or shop. My other Favorite way to see the city is a Ghost Tour. Private Eye Ghost Tours with Jake are very reasonably priced. She picks you up at your hotel and drives you all over the city and if you are not a fan of ghost stories it is still the least expensive way to see the most Seattle has to offer.
Use the City’s websites for up to date information and ideas or just contact me and I will customize a trip for you. I almost forgot visiting REI can also be interesting as it appears to be a little bit of Wilderness in the Big City.
There is a Bus that runs free in the center of town.
