Mowlynnong village located in Megalaya , is known as Asia’s cleanest village.This village is popularly known as “ God’s own Garden”. It was truly so with exotic orchids growing with gay abundance in everyone’s backyard, wide variety of flowers, colorful big butterflies and the icing on the cake was the pitcher plant which till then you had read in the science book! More excitement was on its way as were to live in a tree house! There were a few home stays also available. The treehouse was overlooking a stream and at night when the lights were out for a few hours we saw the area dotted with fireflies was a sight to behold!
