Anytime I’m in Tampa I make sure to hit up Brocato’s for some bangin’ Cuban sandwiches, plantains, and stuffed potatoes and to support a Tampa institution that’s been serving high grade munchables since the 1940s. It always feels good to get a quality meal at a good price and to know my money is going to a locally owned business.
It can get a little hectic ordering and waiting for your food in there at peak hours, but it’s more than worth the effort and the wait provided there is one. If you’re in Tampa, you owe it to yourself to hit up Brocato’s for a Cuban sandwich and some sides to fill your belly while you’re that close to Cuba. Be advised though, the drink machine can get a little wonky from time to time.
