Tokyo, Japan for Science Fun in Miraikan

The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation is definitely a mustsee for all the geeks who decide to visit Tokyo. Even though it’s mostly aimed at kids, adult can definitely have fun in here too and perhaps learn a thing or two! The first striking thing is the giant globe rotating in the main lobby of the museum. You can walk around it to experience it in 360 and also play around with interactive screens that will provide stats about are planet. Another intriguing (and slightly unnerving) thing of Miraikan are its androids, and if you come at right time you can witness a presentation of a humanoid robot, complete with face movements, gestures and communication. There are also some educational aspect about the museum, such as stress on sustainability and how can we reduce natural disasters and prolong live expectancy. There are also a really cool space simulators and a bit of history of the Internet. Something for everyone!
