Valencia, Central Visayas, Philippines for Travel

This is another adventure I had in Negros Oriental.

Valencia is a town located after Dumaguete. There are also a lot of resorts in this town. One of the best that I’ve been to is The Forest Camp.

The travel going to this place from Dumaguete would take about 45 minutes – 1 hour if you’re traveling with a car. It’s different if you’re using a motorcycle.

The Forest Camp was one of the best resorts I’ve been to so far. It’s not just a resort that makes use of Chlorine to clean the waters. The thing here is that, they are really using freshwater. The thought that this place uses freshwater attracts tourists and travelers.

The entrance fee of the resort is 90 pesos for adults and 70 pesos for kids. Upon entering the place, you would then see different amenities such as swimming pools, freshwater pools, a zipline and a lot more. This place helps one person to rejuvinize the body and mind since everything in this place is not polluted. The water is so cold and relaxing especially when you want to break free from the summer heat. The air is as fresh as it should be.

This place is just of those places that would help a traveler enjoy his stop over for a moment. Undeniably, this is something that Valencia should be proud of. Everything is just so natural in the senses. I would really love to go back in this place since I really like the natural feeling it gives me – a break from all the city’s stress.

Insider Tip

Valencia is a town known to be in the top of a mountain.
