I started with lunch at Founding Farmers, it is a great restaurant co-op that has a great chicken and waffles dish. That is what I had. It was excellent. It was pretty close to the Lincoln Memorial which I hadnt seen before then. Walking up on the memorial you see the big columns reminding you of something that you would see in old time Italy, or something similar. They are large, and as I walked up, there was Lincoln sitting in the large chair looking over you. It was a powerful experience. I walked around and admired the view a bit down to the Washington memorial, there were many people all over the place. It was a fun time, I had a great experience and would suggest everyone to go check it out!
