Evey year we drive to New Brunswick, Canada and take a different route whenever possible. We decided to visit the White Mountains along the way. First we spent a day climbing through caves at Woodstock,New Hampshire at a place called lost river gorge. I like caves but omg this was some very small spaces definately not for the cloustophobic . I went through most of the caves but some were to small . After that we continued on to the road leading to Mount Washington. There is a fee to drive up or if you choose you can ride with a group in a van. There is also a train that goes up to the top . Many times on the drive up I wished someone else was driving as the edge is very close, the road to narrow to pass in several spots and it’s a long way down. The view is impressive the wind gets so strong they actually have a small building chained down. They have a post office up there and the weather station that has people working year round. I can’t imagine driving up or down every day especially not in the winter. You can always check out more of my travels at http://www.atouristlife.com
There are several breweries nearby and shopping tax free.
