Getting there wasn’t that hard — The train from Geneva airport to Zermatt takes about 4 hours, with a change at Visp.
Epic snow conditions made for great skiing. Pics attached, as well as a map. You can visit Italy at the top!
The skiing speaks for itself but the town is what made the trip so charming. Zermatt has bustling streets, and especially cool are the horse-drawn sleighs, bells jingling as they hurried to the smartest hotels.
For dinner, we wet to the The Postli kitchen – they uses fresh and regional products of the highest quality and have an authentic feel.
Since my early 20s I’ve been back several times each time making fresh discoveries about the town, the ski area and the beautiful high mountains that surround the place. For me, what makes Zermatt stand out is its year-round life, the variety and length of its ski runs, the wonderful scenery and the extensive exploring!
Be there for first tracks! Everyone knows this, but very few make it.
